A graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology 2009, Nandan decided to pursue a career in painting and fine arts. His art is mostly inspired from Indian mythology. His works in monochrome achieve depth and dimension, at the same time convey through black and white a range of human emotions. The fine spiral pattern drawing inter-relates all the elements in the painting giving it a unique complexity. The young artist has already had two solo exhibitions in Kolkata 2009 and Delhi 2011. Solo exhibitions with Art Musings include Endgame, 2014 & Monochrome, 2012. Group Exhibitions with Art Musings include Trunk Show, 2020; Castle of Crossed Destiny, 2019; The 20th, 2019; BLACK/white, 2017; Quarto’16, 2016. The artist lives and works in Kolkata.
